If you are familiar with NFG, then you would know that they come from a little suburb town, Coral Springs, located in Florida. They grew up there and in 1997 started the band. As the band grew popular, and because 3 of the band members, Steve, Ian, and Jordan have a fear of planes, and their reacord label is located in the Los Angeles area, they decided to make a move that would change their lives forever. I talked to Steve and he said that him and Cyrus live together in Murrieta, while The Chad apparently lives in Los Angeles, Jordan with his girlfriend Mandy, and newlywed Ian with his wife, Stormy. I am assuming Jordan and Ian live somewhere in the vicinity of Murrieta. Either way, they are on the West Coast now, and happy to be here! |

HOW TO GET NFG ON MTV's COUNTDOWN

CALL: 1-800-342-5688 Monday-Friday between 12:30pm and 1:00pm EST (9:30am-10:00am Pacific)
REQUEST: "My Friends Over You" as many times as you can each day
If dialing by name (option "1"), enter 6-3-9 (N-e-w)
If dialing by video (option "2"), enter 6-9-3 (M-y-F)
Call and vote as many times you can!
IMPORTANT:
Calls during the first 10 minutes are the easiest time to get through
CALL from 12:30pm - 1:00pm (Eastern Time)
CALL from 11:30am - 12:00pm (Central Time)
CALL from 10:30am - 11:00am (Mountain Time)
CALL from 9:30am - 10:00am (Pacific Time)
The calls are the most effective way to request, but you also need to vote once a day online at MTV.com

I know, this is a tragic sadness, but we must all suck it up and accept the fact that NFG is pretty big. We should all help out the guys like they have helped all of us out by just being them, and creating this music that we all love SO much. Click on the banner below:
see what happens is when bands get on to things like the radio and MTV, they get this thing called "royalties" these "royalties" equal money. This unfortunately for the underground scene, gives them fame, and with fame, you get the teenyboppers. But its going to happen whether you like it or not...the best bet is to help the guys get paid, and let their music be heard by as many possible...its only what the band deserves and furthermore desires. |
